Terms of Service for Chord Scribe

These terms are an agreement between you and Barbed Wire Glove Games ("we", "us") covering your use of the Chord Scribe mobile app. By installing or using Chord Scribe, you agree to them.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Mazed and Confused, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. These Terms apply to all users of the Game.

2. Chord Scribe Pro

Pro is available as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by region. - **Subscriptions renew automatically** at the end of each billing period at the price shown when you subscribed, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Google Play or Apple account is charged at renewal. - **Cancel any time** through your Google Play or App Store subscription settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for. - **Lifetime** is a single payment that unlocks Pro for as long as the app is available on your platform. It is not a subscription and does not renew. - **Refunds** are handled by Google Play and Apple under their own policies, since they process the payment. We can't issue refunds directly. - **Restoring purchases:** if you reinstall the app or switch devices, use Restore Purchases in the app while signed in to the same store account. We may change Pro pricing or the features it includes. Price changes take effect at your next renewal and only after the store notifies you as its rules require.

3. Your content

Songs, lyrics, chord charts, and set lists you create or import are yours. They are stored on your device, and we don't have access to them. You are responsible for the content you put into the app. Only import or share lyrics and chord charts you have the right to use. Chord Scribe's import feature fetches pages from third-party websites at your request; those sites' own terms apply to their content.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use Chord Scribe to infringe anyone's copyright, attempt to bypass the Pro purchase, reverse engineer the app beyond what the law allows, or interfere with the services it relies on.

5. Availability and changes

We may update, change, or discontinue parts of the app at any time. We aim to keep it working, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. Please export anything important, since the app stores everything on your device without backup.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

Chord Scribe is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Some jurisdictions don't allow this exclusion, in which case it applies to the fullest extent permitted.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Barbed Wire Glove Games will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for Pro in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Termination

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top will change, and continued use after that date means you accept the new terms.
